REVOLUTIONIZING THE MEDICINE STUDIES ENTRANCE TEST

“Successful cooperation since 8 years! Web development, marketing and an exceptionally high fun factor – all under one roof!”

Top Grossing Education App

The Studymed App was the top grossing education games app in Play Store in 2018.

Applications

72429 applicants prepared for the test over the last 7 years

In 2012 a group of medicine students gathered and in the legendary Charlie P’s and wondered by there is no affordable, and at the same time qualitative way of preparing for it.
This is when the idea of Studymed, an e-learning portal, first was born. Very fast, they iterated over the idea and finally approached us if we can help them developing that e-learning portal for them.

The Problem

Simulation of actual test

The goal was clear, come up with an e-learning portal that is both affordable and user friendly at the same time. But in order to get there, multiple challenges had to be solved.

By far the biggest one was that users of the e-learning platform should be able to practice in the most realistic way to simulate the actual entrance test.

Which meant, the different types of questions, which are usually answered on paper, had to be adapted to work on a screen as well.

The Solution

State of the art e-learning platform

What we came up with was a state-of-the-art e-learning platform using a modern tech-stack that offers as UX friendly online course paired with most realistic test simulations.

Through many iterations of the feature set as well as the user interface, it became clearer and clearer what the users really needed and therefore Studymed got enriched with nice helpful features like solution strategies in form of videos as well as textual solutions for every exercise within the portal.

This meant we had to develop a “simulation mode”, which has the exact same structure and timing as the real test.

In addition, due to an increased popular demands for apps, “MedAT Companion”, an E-Learning app was also released, which brought the content of the online portal into the user’s pocket.
