Limited in-house development resources before investment
With the existing solutions, converting any place to a virtual reality environment is a complicated process that requires resources like expensive equipment, time and experts.
Frameless had an innovative technology but needed a prototype to showcase their unique selling points before investors and public funding agencies were able to invest.
VR APP Prototype
We helped develop a prototype that was able to capture a place and convert it to a 3D environment on any android mobile device.
The key competitive advantage Frameless wanted to showcase was the ability to transform recordings directly to 3D content using a smartphone app. This allows the users to convert environments (e.g. rooms) into VR without having to take 3D images with an expensive equipment.
Additionally, the prototype demonstrated Frameless’s distinguishing feature of linking the individual areas together and enhancing the VR environment with pinned information snippets.
VR APP Prototype
The prototype was able to record and show 3D environments on any android mobile device.
The key USP frameless wanted to showcase was the ability to map the recordings directly on 3D spheres/zylinders in order to provide the ability to showcase environments (e.g. rooms) in VR without having to take 3D images using expensive equipment.
Additionally, the prototype showcased their UPS of linking multiple spheres together and enhancing the VR environment with pinned information snippets.
