How we made it happen

Approach
The chatbot on the Österreichprogramm website allows customers to install Austrian TV channels in an easier, user-friendly and more entertaining way.
After holding the initial workshop to identify the main needs, we offered BotBase as a tool to build and maintain a customized chatbot fast & easy and get insights into the user behaviour. We thought through the conversation architecture together with IP Österreich, facilitated onboarding & education sessions on BotBase and now IP Österreich team is fully empowered to adapt the chatbot to any changing needs and information.
After the chatbot in its initial form was launched, we made several iterations with custom coded features to enable even better experience for various specific use cases. For example, we developed the possibility to download the relevant documentation for a specific combination of a TV and reception. We created the possibility to update the dialog depending on the page of the website the user is browsing to provide a shortcut for relevant information for the user.
Result
Chatbot for Österreichprogramm helped our client IP Österreich to provide the users with information and support in easier and more convenient way and reach more users through this new channel.
The goal of making the experience of installation of Austrian TV channels more accessible is now achieved.
Moreover having the conversational interface on the website strengthens the brand and positioning of IP Österreich both internally and externally as a modern, successful and user-oriented enterprise.
